A small naturist site situated in the park of an 18th-century castle, just 8 km. south of the Dordogne. The owners offer a warm welcome and a family atmosphere.

The site makes good use of the château’s outbuildings and wisteria hangs over the tiny reception area. There are 29 large pitches (electricity 6A) mainly on level grass, separated by mature hedges giving considerable privacy. A small number of chalets and gîtes are also available to rent.

The site is an excellent starting point for walking and cycling along small tracks through the vineyards and for day trips. These might include a visit to historic Saint Emilion (20 km) and the bustling city of Bordeaux (50 km). Every day a traditional market takes place in one or other of the nearby villages.

One small, unheated, unisex toilet block has washbasins (some in cubicles) and preset open showers. Baby bath and accessible facilities. Washing machine. Small shop, fresh bread daily. Bar and snack bar. Small swimming pool, but no children’s pool. Entertainment programme (July/Aug). Play area. Boules. Badminton. Fitness room and sauna (charged). Communal barbecue area. Bicycle hire. WiFi on part of site (free). Ice packs frozen.

Directions to Domain Naturiste Château Guiton

From Libourne, join D670 towards St Emilion and Castillon-la-Bataille. At St Laurent-des-Combes turn right towards Sauveterre-de-Guyenne. At sign for Rauzan turn right onto D231. Continue on this road and follow signs to Frontenac. Site is signed from outskirts of village.
