Parc de Witte Vennen is a family site with around 150 unusually spacious pitches for either touring units or seasonal use. Many of the pitching areas have their own playground or sports field so parents can watch the children while they go about. The quieter fields, although not on the waterside, are perfect for nature lovers and senior citizens.

Most of the pitching areas are car-free zones with parking nearby. Various activities are organised during the holiday season for children up to 12yrs, from a ride in a horse and carriage to a tour with the forest ranger. In addition, bicycles and go-karts are available for rent, or you can make free use of the pedalos.

Parc de Witte Vennen is a place where you can experience true Limburg hospitality. Personal attention is assured as the site is not tied to a large chain and has spacious grounds. On-site you will find luxury bungalows, attractive and extremely generous pitches with extensive facilities, all set in parkland beside a large lake with a second lake specifically for swimming. A few kilometres from the site lies the main provincial town of Venray, with its wide selection of shops, bars, cafés and restaurants, theatre and cinema. Venray also has its own convention centre. For more extensive shopping try the new Outlet centre in the old city centre of Roermond. Düsseldorf or Maastricht are best for more sophisticated shopping.

Location

From A73 at junction 9 take the N270 in the direction of Oostrum and Wanssum. At the second roundabout take the first exit and turn almost immediately left into Sparrendreef and the site is on the right. It is signed from the main road.
