Clare Glen Caravan Park is a council-run touring site located in the heart of the 55-acre Clare Glen country retreat near Tandragee, Northern Ireland. It is highly regarded for its tranquil atmosphere and direct access to scenic riverside walks. The park is designed specifically for touring vehicles and currently does not accept standard tent bookings (as of the 2025/2026 season).The site has 25 hard-standing pitches. Each pitch is fully serviced with its own electric, water, and drainage hook-ups. Pitches are spacious enough to accommodate a touring caravan or motorhome alongside a single car.

The park features a modern, centrally heated amenity building located in the centre of the site. with Clean toilets and showers (often noted for having plenty of hot water). The site is accessibility friendly, with accessible toilets and low-gradient paths nearby.

The site is unmanned. After booking online, guests receive a 4-digit code to operate the security gates.

The park’s primary draw is its natural setting along the Cusher River and the many alking trials that sourrund the site. There are three types of walking trails here. The River Trail: A flat, gravel path suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.The Bluebell Trail: A steeper trail through the woods, spectacular in spring. The Glen View Trail: Offers elevated views of the glen landscape. The area is a wildlife haven featuring hazel, oak, and ash trees, with seasonal wildflowers like wild garlic and orchids. The park is approximately 1.5 miles from Tandragee, home to the famous Tayto Castle (tours available) and various local shops/cafes.

The heated toilet block has free showers, washbasins and WC’s. Accessible facilities. Laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer. Dishwashing area. Chemical toilet point. BBQ’s allowed. Communal picnic and BBQ area.  Free Wi-Fi. Fishing, Golf, Dry slope skiing, Golf and Stand up paddle boarding nearby. Dogs allowed.

From Portadown on the B78. Turn left onto Tandragee Road/A27. Turn right onto Ballyknock Road. At T junction turn right onto Laurelvale Road. Turn left onto Cordain Road. Turn left onto Markethill Road B3.  The site is signed of this road on the right.
