Surrounded by pine woods, La Rive has a superb beach-side location on Lac de Sanguinet. With approximately 500 pitches (including mobile home accommodation), it provides 190 mostly level, numbered and clearly defined touring pitches of 80-100 sq.m. all with electricity connections (10A), 100 also with water and waste water. The swimming pool complex is wonderful with pools linked by water channels and bridges. There is also a jacuzzi, paddling pool and two large swimming pools all surrounded by sunbathing areas and decorated with palm trees. An indoor pool is heated and open all season. This is a friendly site with a good mix of nationalities.
The latest additions are a super children’s aquapark with various games and a top quality bar/restaurant complex where regular entertainment is organised. There are plans to extend the outdoor pools with the addition of new slides more than 200 m. long. The beach is excellent, shelving gently to provide safe bathing for all ages. There are windsurfers and small craft can be launched from the site’s slipway.

Three good clean toilet blocks have washbasins in cabins and mainly British style toilets. Accessible facilities. Baby baths. Motorhome services. Shop with gas. New bar/restaurant complex with entertainment. Swimming pool complex (supervised July/Aug) with aquapark for children. Games room. Play area. Tennis. Bicycle hire. Boules. Fishing. Water-skiing. Watersports equipment hire. Tournaments (June-Aug). Skateboard park. Trampolines. Miniclub. No charcoal barbecues on pitches. Sauna, Beauty treatments, Jacuzzi, Manicure, Hydro massage, Communal barbecue areas. WiFi throughout (charged).
