Located in the heart of the Drôme Provençale, les Bois du Chatelas is a very high quality, family run site just 1.5 km. from the delightful village of Bourdeaux which offers some shops, cafés, etc. There are 169 level, good sized, terraced pitches, 62 for touring (rock pegs advised). They are separated by hedges and maturing trees give some shade; all have electricity, water and drainage, not to mention stunning views. There is a superb swimming pool complex with fitness room, jacuzzi and sauna. Overlooking the pool area is a restaurant with a full menu and superb views over the valley and mountains beyond. Air-conditioned chalets can be rented. Les Bois du Chatelas is a good choice for those seeking an active holiday and the fact that all facilities are open between April and September is a big attraction.

The long distance GR9 footpath passes through the site and there are very many walking and cycle routes close at hand. A popular aquagym is organised in the large outdoor pool in peak season. In high season, there is a lively entertainment programme as well as cycling and walking excursions.

Two excellent toilet blocks (one heated) on upper and lower levels, with facilities for babies and accessible facilities (though site is not ideal for those with mobility problems). Shop. Bar. Restaurant/takeaway/pizzeria. Indoor and outdoor pools with water slide, waterfall, sauna, aquagym and jacuzzi. Sports field. Archery. Play area. Bicycle hire. Entertainment and excursion programme. Directions to Ciela Vilage - Les Bois du Chatelas

Leave A7 autoroute, exit 16 (Loriol). Take D104 east to Crest. Leave Crest bypass at traffic lights, take D538 south to Bourdeaux and continue towards Dieulefit for 1.5 km. Site is on the left (well signed).
