Surrounded by countryside with views of the Shropshire hills, the site offers easy access from the A5 and is an ideal base to explore Shropshire and the towns and villages on the Welsh border.

Cartref is also the first campsite off the A5 travelling North West, making it an ideal stop-off on your route to North and Mid Wales. Onsite features include a children's play area, a uniquely styled bar, and an adults-only area.

Directions to Cartref Caravan & Camping

Off the Shrewsbury bypass (A5) take the Welshpool Road (A458) in to Ford. After passing the petrol/service station, take the next left and follow the brown leisure signs.
