Alan Rogers Review

Cannock Chase Camping & Caravanning Club site sits on the edge of one of the Midlands’ most well-known beauty spots, Cannock Chase. A combination of natural woodland and open heathland, the Chase, England’s smallest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offers great adventure and fun for walkers, mountain bikers and dog lovers alike. The site is well laid out and edged by trees. It offers level hardstanding pitches, while grass pitches tend to be sloping. In addition to showers and toilets, the site offers washing up facilities, a shop, a family room, and direct access from the site onto the Chase. The Chase is the big appeal of this site. As well as its bountiful wildlife, it offers endless walking and miles of exhilarating mountain bike trails, including the famous Follow the Dog Trail and new Monkey Trail, which start from Birches Valley Forest Centre. The site has 50 grass or hardstanding pitches (some seasonal), most with electric hook-up. 4 Safari tents available for hire.

Non-members are welcome and may join on-site. Please speak to site staff for details and to check pitch availability before arrival.
