This impressive campsite is set in beautiful countryside close to the Truyère Gorges, Upper Lot valley and the Aubrac Plateau. Efficiently run, it is situated on the shores of the Lac de la Selves. There are 275 average sized pitches (108 for touring) with 6A electricity, some bordering the lake, the rest terraced and hedged with views of the lake. About 100 pitches also have water points. The site has a spacious feel, enhanced by the thoughtfully planned terraced layout and it is well kept and very clean. There is some up-and-down walking to the facilities, especially from the upper terraces. Used by tour operators (70 pitches).

The campsite creates a feeling of being close to nature, set in extensive, pleasantly wooded surroundings overlooking the lake. Every effort has been made to preserve the natural fauna and flora; wild flowers abound including rare orchids, whilst buzzards and woodpeckers are very much at home here. As well as the watersports facilities, there is a range of outdoor sports on offer including tennis and volleyball courts. Careful thought has been given to provide more unusual activities for children, such as supervised tree climbing, zip wire and aquapark.

Four very well equipped toilet blocks. Attractive central complex housing the amenities. Shop (with gas). Restaurant/bar. Takeaway (high season). Swimming pools (May-Sept). Play area. Tennis. Varied programme of daytime and evening activities, with miniclub and tree climbing (all supervised). Lake activities include fishing, canoeing, pedaloes, windsurfing, water-skiing and provision for launching small boats. Pedal boat, canoe and bicycle hire. Internet (charged). Max. 1 dog.

Take D34 from Entraygues-sur-Truyère to St Amans-des-Cots (14 km). In St Amans take D97 to Colombez and then D599 to Lac de la Selves (site signed, 5 km. from St Amans).
