Camping Seeshaupt is located in the small town of Seeshaupt in Bavaria on the southern tip of Lake Starnberger See. On-site, you will find 143 grass and hardstanding pitches, 45 of which are for touring units and have 16 amp electric hook-up points available. There are also five hiking cabins available to rent. This site is ideal for those who enjoy water sports and can fully utilise Lake Starnberger See. There are swimming, Sailing, windsurfing and kayaking opportunities to be had here. For those who love the outdoors, this is an ideal base to explore the surrounding area, as many hiking and cycling routes can be found directly from the campsite. The site also offers bicycle and car hire.

On-site amenities include a small restaurant with a terrace with views of the lake, serving local and international dishes. There is also a small shop serving local produce, with a bread delivery service available so you can try out your cooking skills at the communal BBQ facilities.

Regarding local attractions, it is worth exploring the Neuschwanstein Castle, located about 30 kilometres (19 miles) away. The campsite is also about a 10-minute walk from the town centre of Seeshaupt, where you can find shops, bars, and other amenities. The campsite is also about a 15-minute drive from Starnberg, a larger town with more shops and restaurants.

Directions to Campingplatz Seeshaupt

From the A95/E533 Munich-Garmisch motorway, take exit 7 Seeshaupt. Now join the St2064 and after approx. 2 km you will reach St.-Heinrich. At the crossroads turn left towards Seeshaupt, shortly after the beginning of the village turn right to the site.
