Camping San Giusto is a friendly, family run site in an unspoilt, typically Tuscan setting within the Montalbano National Park. There are 100 terraced touring pitches, the lower ones with 6A electricity and well shaded. Some of these pitches have superb views over the Tuscan countryside, while almost all of the upper pitches enjoy spectacular views. Amenities include a restaurant specialising in wonderful Tuscan food cooked by the father of the family owners and a pleasant, small, well stocked shop which also sells delicious homemade cakes. San Giusto will suit those looking for the peace and quiet of a traditional campsite with reasonable rates in a natural setting.
At busy times vehicles are parked in a large car park at the front of the site. This site is a good base for exploring Tuscany, especially by using the site’s shuttle bus to the local station which has regular rail services to destinations throughout Tuscany. The beautiful small town of Vinci, best known as Leonardo’s birthplace is 20 minutes away. Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, is 30 minutes. A little further afield, Pisa and Volterra are also highly recommended. The Montalbano National Park has a great wealth of walking and mountain biking tracks, and the site’s owners will be pleased to recommend routes.

Four sanitary blocks provide a variety of services. The small upper block is more modern. Washing machines. Bar and snack bar. Excellent restaurant. Shop. Swimming and paddling pools. Playground. Games room. WiFi (free). Communal barbecue area. Shuttle bus service. Mobile homes and chalets for rent.
Directions to Camping Village San Giusto
From A1 Milan-Rome autostrada take Firenze exit, then the Firenze, Pisa, Livorno road towards Empoli and Pisa. Leave at Montelupo and head towards Limite Sull’Arno and on to Castra. Site is signed on the left after Castra.
