Camping Ventaine is a pleasant, quiet site on the Curonian Lagoon, just opposite the Neringa Peninsula in the Nemunas Delta regional park, close to the Russian border. It has some 60 pitches on one large field in front of the Ventaine Hotel. The numbered pitches are on level grass, divided by low wooden fences and with no shade. There are 30 with electricity (6/10A), four with water and drainage also. The front rows have beautiful views over the water. This area of Lithuania is famous for birdwatching, with many migration routes passing over here. Other attractions could include relaxing in an ancient Roman-style steam sauna, fishing and boat trips. The campsite has an on site restuarant with views of the Curonian lagoon where you can sample local fish dishes and snacks.

One toilet block with British style toilets, open washbasins and free, controllable hot showers. Bar/restaurant with good value meals (daily in season). Indoor, heated swimming pool (all year). Watersports. Fishing. Boat launching. Bicycle, boat and canoe hire. Small beach. Basketball and tennis court, Pool Table, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Steam room, Dogs not allowed.

Directions to Camping Ventaine

From Klaipeda, follow the 141 road south towards Silute. In Priekule, turn right towards Vente. In Vente, site is on the right after 300 m.
