This tranquil site, on the edge of the small village of Pontaubault, is in a secluded, rural setting, surrounded by high hedges and many mature trees. Just a 200 m. walk away is the River Sélune with its wide grass banks and picnic tables where you can sit, relax and enjoy the fine view of the river with its multi-arched stone bridge. Of the 62 gently sloping, grass touring pitches, 48 have 10A electricity. Run by David and Vanessa, Camping Vallée de la Sélune provides an ideal location for those seeking a quiet, stress free family holiday without discos clubs and pools. There is a shop in the village, but no longer any restaurants. A supermarket is a short drive away.

Mont Saint-Michel is within easy driving distance to the west, as are Granville, the Cherbourg Peninsula and even the D-Day beaches and museums to the north. The site is conveniently located for the ferry port of Saint-Malo and for those travelling between Caen or Cherbourg and Brittany or the Atlantic coast.

Directions to Camping Vallée de la Sélune

Pontaubault is 60 km. east of St Malo, just off the N175 at its junction with the A84 Caen-Rennes motorway. Leave at exit 33 and follow signs to Pontaubault. In village follow campsite signs.
