This large Balatontourist site (16 hectares), on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, has a grassy beach almost 600 metres long which is also used by day visitors. On flat grass, the 308 touring pitches are individual ones with electricity connections (10/16A). Shade is provided by a variety of trees. Windsurfing and excellent swimming are possible in the lake and there are pedaloes for hire. There are many sporting activities available and children’s entertainment. A train line runs along the back of the site.

Central on the site is a buffet for drinks and snacks. This also functions as a games room with jukebox, billiards, electronic games and air hockey. In Balatonszemes is an adventurous style swimming pool with slides and flumes. Close to the site is a cycle route which runs all around the lake.

Two sanitary blocks with some washbasins in cabins, six private bathrooms for hire and accessible facilities. Launderette. Motorhome services. Shop and bar (15/5-31/8). Takeaway. Small pool (15/5-31/8). New playgrounds. Beach volleyball. Paddle boats. Three tennis courts. Minigolf. Bicycle hire. Boat launching. Fishing. Entertainment for children. WiFi over site (charged).

Directions to Camping Vadvirág

On the M7 coming from the North, take the exit for Balatonöszöd and then continue towards the no. 7 road. Turn towards the lake at km. 132, over the railway.
