Alan Rogers Review of Camping Um Bierg
This small site is set on a hillside overlooking the small village of Tarchamps, and although tidy, it looks somewhat dated. The upper area has two terraces with around 90 generously sized, level grass pitches for tourers, all with 6A electricity. Once pitched, cars must be left at the car park by the entrance. On-site facilities include a children's playground, trampoline, volleyball court, and football pitch, offering endless play.
There is also a restaurant with a terrace that overlooks the swimming pool. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the menu features a selection of dishes prepared with fresh vegetables from the campsite's organic garden. The friendly and helpful owners bake their own bread, which is sold on-site, too. This site is ideally suited to couples looking for a peaceful holiday in a good walking country in the low season. It is very popular in high season with families with young children.
The lack of dedicated facilities and steps to the toilet blocks make this site unsuitable for those with mobility issues. Large units would find access challenging due to the very narrow approach roads through the village.
Facilities at Camping Um Bierg
The toilet block in the touring area has clean showers and toilets. A second block is available adjacent to the reception. Both can be heated and are accessed by steps. Laundry facilities. Heated swimming pool (July/Aug). Entertainment for children. Children's playground, trampoline, volleyball court, football pitch, WiFi (charged on-site, free at reception and on the terrace).

From Belgium N84 from Bastogne towards Wiltz and Diekirch. Once in Luxembourg this road becomes the N15. Through village of Doncols and then follow campsite signs.
