Torre del Porticciolo is set high on a peninsula with fabulous views from some parts of the site over the sea and old fortifications. It is family-owned, with striking traditional old buildings and attractive landscaping. Spread over a large area, pine trees mainly surround the site. A few pitches enjoy limited sea views. The campsite is located high above the beach, giving you a beautiful view of the rocky coast and the sea. A long staircase leads you to the private beach, an ideal location for snorkelling. The swimming pool is also a wonderful place to enjoy your holiday.

The campsite shop has freshly baked bread rolls every day. The campsite also features a restaurant and a bar, where you can enjoy drinks and traditional Sardinian dishes, such as filled pasta, fish dishes, and cheeses. There is also a snack bar and a beach bar. Torre del Porticciollo Campsite has a playground where you can play football, (table) tennis, exercise, and participate in Pilates.

Campers of all ages can participate in the activities organised by the entertainment team and enjoy the night-time musical shows for the whole family.

The site is about 12 km. from the airport at Alghero and a shuttle bus operates during the high season. Bungalows and chalets are available to rent and these are sited away from the main touring area. English is spoken in reception. No cash is accepted. All transactions are by the site’s pre-paid card, which leads to long delays at departure.

The two older sanitary blocks have exclusively squat-style toilets. The few British-style toilets are in locked cabins with a key on request. Hot showers are free. Washing machines. Motorhome services. Supermarket. Restaurant. Good supervised pool and paddling pool. Aerobics. Fitness centre. Play areas. Bicycle hire. Miniclub. Entertainment (July/Aug). Excursion service. Beach 100 m. down a very steep slope. Excellent diving. WiFi in the restaurant (charged).

Directions to Camping Torre del Porticciolo

Take SS291 Sassari-Alghero road east, then the SS55 to Capo Caccia. Turn to Porticciolo town where site is well signed.
