Camping Torentjeshoek is situated on the north side of the Dwingelderveld National Park. The partly car-free site is attractively landscaped with trees and shrubs and has 260 pitches, with 160 for tourers. The numbered and level touring pitches are well laid out and well spaced on circular, grassy fields between mature fir and spruce trees. There is shade around the fields and all pitches have 10A electricity, water, waste water and cable. Twelve accommodation units are also available to rent in the form of chalets, huts, safari tents, tree houses and one novelty glamping ‘boat’ on dry land. An open-air, heated public pool adjacent to the site has free entry for campers. The site has a snack bar and in high season an entertainment team provides various activities.
The Dwingelderveld is a peaceful national park with many opportunities for long walks and cycling trips.
