Alan Rogers Review of Camping Toodlermillen
Camping Toodlemillen is beautifully situated in a quiet rural valley alongside the River Sûre. A network of footpaths can be accessed from the site including an international waymarked route. Pony and horse riding is available from the site. The 90 level grass pitches have 6A electricity and are generally open, with some shade by the river.
A small bistro/snack bar opens in high season and the small shop is a useful addition since the site is some distance from amenities. Play areas cater for children of different ages and a twice-weekly activity programme is organised in the high season. Nature lovers will find plenty of interest in the area, notably the otters which can occasionally be seen from the riverbank. Wildlife interpretation boards are placed on the site to encourage children to watch for wildlife.
Facilities at Camping Toodlermillen
A large, modern sanitary block is conveniently sited and has preset showers (charged), children’s toilets and accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. Shop stocking essentials. Bar, restaurant and takeaway (July/Aug). Two play areas for younger and older children. Activities and entertainment weekly. Riding (July/Aug). Free WiFi.

From N15 take turn signed Tadler in Heiderscheid. Drive through Tadler and a further 1 mile down valley road. (If using sat nav, ignore steep narrow turn to left) but continue down the valley road. In 800 m. at bus stop turn left and follow site signs.
