Camping Thoissey Val de Saône is in the Rhône-Alpes region in the southeast of France. Many great attractions are nearby, such as the medieval town of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne. The site has 260 pitches, of which 200 are for touring units, and has electric hook-up points available. There are 20 accommodation units available for hire. You have many choices regarding the pitch type you want to stay on. Pitches are spacious and not delimited by hedges, but most can be found under large trees with plenty of shade. Sunny pitches are also spread out over the well-kept grounds.

Campsite guests have access to the municipal swimming pool, located next to the campsite; here, you will find a large outdoor swimming pool with a toddler pool and a water slide for the older kids to enjoy. There are also plenty of sun loungers to use here to relax. There is a waterside cafe at the Municipal swimming pool, which has views of the pool and a view of the river behind. The restaurant serves various snacks and meals such as burgers, pizza, salads, and ice cream, and a themed evening is held once a week during the high season. The river is accessible via a gate direct from the campsite. You can rent a canoe to explore the surrounding area via the river or try water skiing a stone's throw away from the campsite.

Directions to Camping Thoissey Val de Saône

From the A6/E15 at junction 30. At the roundabout take the first exit to join the D337 to Saint Jean d’Adieres and turn right to join the D306. At another roundabout turn right towards Dracé. Cross the River Saône and the site is located on the right just after the bridge.
