This well cared for, family run site is situated beside the Veerse Meer, on the island of Zuid-Beveland, in Zeeland. Emphasis at this site is on a neat and tidy appearance, quality facilities and a friendly reception. The site occupies both sides of Veerweg with one side providing seven touring pitches with individual sanitary facilities and fully serviced hardstanding pitches for motorhomes. On the other side are the main buildings and 40 generous touring pitches, many fully serviced and separated by hedging, and a tent field. Further seasonal and static places are kept apart. A feature of this campsite is a narrow canal crossed by a bridge, leading to an area of seasonal units.

Not only is the site’s location idyllic for watersports enthusiasts, it is also an excellent and picturesque setting for cyclists and walkers. A passenger and bicycle ferry takes you across Veerse Meer in high season, adding to the opportunities available. It is also close to a watersports complex with boat hire and lessons. The original part of the site is where you will find reception, a bar and the main toilet block (recently renovated to provide solar-heated water). There are additional, longer term touring areas with individual sanitary units on the pitch. Some attractive chalets are to rent.

The single, modern toilet block is clean and has showers (token operated), open style wash areas, two wash cabins, facilities for children, and a baby bath. Laundry with book/magazine exchange. Motorhome services. Bar. Play area. Trampoline. Boules. Organised events for all in high season. Bicycle hire. Fishing. Free WiFi over site.

Location

From N256 Goes-Zierikzee road take Wolphaartsdijk exit heading west. Turn right after 1 km. and follow signs to Veerse Meer (the lake) along Kwistenburg, bearing left on to Aardebolle-weg, right turn onto Veerweg at mini roundabout and site reception is to left in 500 m.
