Camping Sölden is a beautifully planned, family run site located deep within the Ötztaler Alps, and open for both summer and winter seasons. Pitches are arranged on grassy terraces and are all equipped with electricity (10A, Europlug), as well as TV and telephone connections. A number of heated wooden barrels are available for rent. The site boasts an excellent spa/wellness centre with a Finnish sauna, steam bath, infra-red cabin and comfortable relaxation room, all free to campers during the winter season. Other amenities include an excellent 85 sq.m. indoor climbing wall.

The Ötztal is justly renowned for active holidays in summer and winter. There are miles of waymarked trails for walkers and mountain bikers, and all manner of other activity sports are on offer in the area. This is an important winter sports destination with a wide range of amenities. The village of Sölden is a typical alpine resort with plenty of good restaurants, cafés and shops, and is popular with many young British sports groups. Further afield, Innsbruck is the region’s capital and has plenty to offer the visitor.

Directions to Camping Sölden

Approaching from the north (Munich or Salzburg) take A93 to Kufstein, then A12 past Innsbruck to Ötztal. Head south on B186 for 35 km. to Sölden, and follow signs to the site.
