Alan Rogers Review of Camping Simmerschmelz
Camping Simmerschmelz is located in a secluded, hilly area within the dense forests of the Eisch Valley, approximately 2 kilometres from the charming village of Septfontaines. The Eisch Valley and the Mamer Valley form part of Luxembourg's largest nature reserve. Numerous cycling and walking paths crisscross this picturesque landscape.
On site there are 72 touring pieces of which have 6-Amp electric hook up points available. The camping area is divided into several fields, separated by trees and bushes. A portion of the pitches is reserved for permanent guests, while the tourist pitches are situated on the eastern side at the rear of the campsite. Most of the pitches are relatively compact, although a few spacious options are available. The grounds are lush and green, thanks to the trees, bushes, grass, and the forest that borders the campsite.
Despite its remote location, Camping Simmerschmelz offers a restaurant with a reasonably-sized menu and a terrace overlooking the playground and a grassy area.
