Camping Salzmann is a part of the Rohrspitz watersports centre, on the southern bank of Lake Constance. There are 45 grass touring pitches here, of varying sizes, each with an electrical connection. The complex comprises many water-based activities, from canoeing to lake excursions. An electronic card is used for access to the toilet blocks and to pay for hot water and showers. The lakeside restaurant has fine views across the marina to the lake and mountains. The Salzmann harbour is at the heart of the complex and has moorings for 190 boats, as well as good maintenance facilities.

This is excellent walking and cycling country, with direct access to the Lake Constance cycle network. Bicycle hire is available on site. There is direct access to a pebble beach and water sports are understandably popular here. The site runs regular wakeboard courses, as well as windsurfing and water-skiing. Surrounding the site is an extensive bird and nature reserve. The majority of the land area is taken up by seasonal caravan units.

Directions to Camping Salzmann Rohrspitz

Approaching from the north and Germany (A96) leave at the Bregenz exit. From here head west on the B202 as far as Höchst and the site is well signed from here.
