It is situated between Carcassonne and Toulouse. This is a small site where you could recharge your batteries and enjoy a well-deserved rest in an idyllic setting where nature and serenity have been preserved. The 13-hectare site has 30 pitches with 8amp electric hook-up point, you can choose between a sunny or shaded pitch with or without electricity. Water taps nearby and each pitch is perfectly delimited by hedges. The site also has 11 mobile homes available to hire

The Canal du Midi Ideal is the ideal starting point for your family outings by bike, on foot or by houseboat. Its original name was "Canal Royal en Languedoc", but since the revolution of 1789 it has been renamed "Canal du Midi". Considered the largest construction site of the seventeenth century. The City of Carcassonne is above all known as a medieval fortified city; but this rocky outcrop has been occupied by man since the sixth century. On the west face of this primitive fortification supports the castle built in the twelfth century by the Viscounts Trencavel. At the beginning of the thirteenth century, Carcassonne was taken by Simon de Montfort during the Albigensian crusade, then annexed to the royal domain. Fortification work continued throughout the thirteenth century with the construction of the outer enclosure and the modernization of the inner rampart, making this square an impregnable fortress.

Location

From the A61 take exit 20 to join the D622a and at 3rd roundabout take D813. Next turn left onto D43 towards Revel. After 4 km turn right onto D21. Turn left at the church and the site is signposted.
