Tucked away alongside the pretty Restonica river and near the Pont Neuf leading into the stunning old mountainside city of Corte, Camping Restonica is ideally placed for tourists wanting to visit Corte or travel on the popular inland mountain railway (the station is only a few hundred metres from the site). This is a small, simple site catering for those who want to enjoy the many delights of Corte. The entrance is steep but manageable and there are 110 flat, shady pitches for campers with many beautiful terraced pitches for tents dotted along the river bank under trees. The river is great for paddling or a shallow swim. The spectacular town is just above the site.

The bar and terrace, where breakfast is served, also provides basic essentials. The wonderful restaurants in Corte serve a dazzling variety of regional dishes, alternatively there is a large supermarket only 500 m. away. Although this is a simple site, the surrounding attractions combined with the lovely riverside setting made our stay enjoyable. The friendly Campana family speak French, Italian and a little English, and will help you to enjoy your visit to the area with train timetables and information about the wonderful walking trails in the Restonica valley.

Facilities at Camping Restonica

Single, central toilet block is unisex and somewhat dated, although very clean. Accessible Toilet but site not really suitable for those with reduced mobility. Washing machine. Bread to order. Bar and snack bar. WiFi throughout (charged). No barbecues. Only certain breeds of dog accepted.

Directions to Camping Restonica

Site is south of Corte town and the rivers Tavingnano and Restonica. Approaching the town, turn left at first roundabout onto Ave du 9 Septembre. Site is 300 m. on the right. It is signed from the roundabout and at the top of the steep, narrow access road.
