This is a beautiful small site set in a high alpine valley with great views in every direction. With 65 touring pitches, all with electricity, this is a great site for those seeking peace and quiet and the opportunity to explore the local area either by bike or on foot.

The site is well placed in the Katschberg Mountains and close to the Pöllatal Nature Reserve, home to the attractive Wolfsbachtal valley. Cars are not allowed in the national park in the summer so entry is via a small tourist road train.

In winter, of course, the site is very well placed for local skiing. There is a free shuttle bus, four ski schools, 14 uphill facilities and cross-country ski tracks nearby. For the less active winter visitor, there is alpine curling and horse-drawn sleigh rides.

Facilities at Camping Ramsbacher

Toilet facilities are clean, heated and modern with free showers but a communal changing area. Washing machine, dryer and drying area. Bread, milk and butter sold. Attractive restaurant/bar with takeaway. Small play area. WiFi (charged).

Directions to Camping Ramsbacher

From A10 take exit 113 (south of Katschberg toll tunnel) and turn towards Rennweg. Turn right later into the village, then right again towards Oberdorf where site is well signed. Alternatively from A10 exit, climb hill from the junction then turn left down towards Oberdorf.
