The very welcoming Camping Steiner is very central for touring with the whole of the Dolomite region within easy reach. With a happy atmosphere and much on-site activity, one could spend an enjoyable holiday here. The 180 individual touring pitches, mostly with good shade and hardstanding, are in rows with easy access and all have 6A electricity. There is a pleasant, family style pizzeria/restaurant with a great menu, plus indoor and outdoor pools with a sunbathing area. The Steiner Park Hotel at the entrance to the site provides another restaurant, café and full hotel facilities.

This friendly, family run site has a long tradition of providing a happy camping experience in the more traditional style – the owner remembers Alan Rogers who stayed here on many occasions. It is easy to get to different parts of the Dolomites which is ideal for walkers. There are also 30 chalets available to rent located to one side of the site.

The two sanitary blocks are equipped to a high standard. They can be heated in cool weather. Accessible Facilities. Shop. Bar/pizzeria/restaurant with takeaway (11/4-30/10). Outdoor pool with paddling pool (11/4-30/9). Aquagym. Smaller covered heated pool (11/4-30/10). Playground. Entertainment incl. wine tastings. Dogs are not accepted in July/Aug. WiFi in some areas (free).

Directions to Camping-Park Steiner

Site is by the SS12 on northern edge of Leifers, 8 km. south of Bolzano. If approaching from north, at the Bolzano-Süd exit from A22 Brenner-Modena motorway follow Trento signs for 7 km. then signs for ‘centre’ Leifers/Laives. From south on motorway take Ora exit, then north on SS12 towards Bolzano for 14 km. then signs for ‘centre’ Leifers/Laives.
