Alan Rogers Review of Camping Park
Camping Park is set on a grassy field close to the E57, directly beside the Savinja river. It provides 30 pitches (all for tourers, with 10A electricity) and is attractively landscaped with flowers and young trees. Pitching is on one large field, with some shade provided by mature trees and the high hedge surrounding the site. Pitches are not separated, but when it is quiet you can take as much space as you need. It is possible to fish and swim in the river.
The site organises excursions to the nearby Pekel Cave in Sempeter, the Roman Nekropolis, the Lasko, Dobrna and Topolsica health resorts, and to the castles in Celje and Velenje. Somewhat further, but close enough for a day trip, are the Logarska Dolina valley, the Savinjske Alps and the Pohorje mountains.
Facilities at Camping Park
One traditional style toilet block with modern fittings has toilets, open plan washbasins and controllable hot showers. Laundry facilities. Fridge boxes (free). River fishing and bathing. Large barbecue area. Bicycle hire. WiFi (free). Torch useful.

Leave the E57 motorway at the Sempeter/Prebold exit. Head south. At the roundabout just south (second exit) of the motorway, after 50m turn left and you are on the site.
