Alan Rogers Review
Parc des Sources is a small, quietly situated site, close to the town of Spa (The Pearl of the Ardennes). It is on the outskirts of a large nature reserve and close to the starting point of the famous Promenade des Artistes and many other interesting walks. There are 155 grassy pitches (60-70 sq.m), of which around 90 are for touring; 70 of these have electricity (6A) and there are 12 hardstandings.
The site does not have a wide range of amenities, but there is a small shop and a bar, restaurant and takeaway available daily in high season. The nearby resort town of Spa has shops, bars and restaurants, parks and museums, as well as the Thermes de Spa, where a wide range of treatments are offered. Parc des Sources is conveniently situated for the famous Spa-Francorchamps racing circuit.
One heated toilet block is clean and well maintained, with hot showers (on payment), open style washbasins and baby changing facilities. Facilities for disabled visitors (key access). Washing machine. Motorhome services. Small shop, bar, restaurant and takeaway (open daily July/Aug). Fresh bread can be ordered (July/Aug). Outdoor swimming pool (July/Aug). Playground (under 5s). Bicycle hire. Torches useful. Free WiFi throughout.
LocationFrom E42, take exit 11 and site is 1.5 km. from Spa on the N62 towards Malmedy. Link to campsite location map on google
