Paradis Plage is situated on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, with access to the lake. The 160 pitches available to touring units are marked out on flat grass under a covering of tall, mature trees. All have 15A electricity and some have gravel hardstandings. There are separate areas of grass where pitches are not marked, including a small overflow section for individuals or groups. The 200 static pitches are occupied mainly at weekends and high season and are neatly set out together in rows. A very busy motorway runs over the site and is extremely noisy. Access to the site is rather narrow but adequate.

A very pleasant restaurant with a large terrace, well stocked shop and takeaway (all to end Sept) form the focal point in the centre with views through the trees to the lake. The site is well placed for walking in the Jura or touring the Bernese Oberland. This area of Switzerland deserves to be better known as there is much of interest here near the French border.

Facilities at Camping Paradis Plage

Three heated sanitary blocks, well placed around the site, have hot showers, washbasins in cabins and accessible facilities. Baby room. Laundry rooms also have electric cooking rings for free use. Gas supplies. Motorhome services. Shop (1/3-25/9). Restaurant. Small children’s pool (1/3-31/10). Play area. Bicycle hire. Fishing. Boating.
