The centrally-located campsite on the outskirts of the city of Salzburg has been managed by the Lex family for the past 60 years. Only 700 metres from the motorway exit “Salzburg Nord”, it is not only the perfect place to stay while passing through, but for leisure and recreational holidays as well. With its approximately 100 pitches, this well-maintained campsite, set amongst lush greenery and blooming flowers is the ideal starting point for the 3.5 km distant city. It is also suitably located for day trips to the Salzkammergut (lake district), the Ice Caves, the Salt Mines and many more sights. A bus stop and bike path to the city centre are right on the doorstep. The complex is equipped with a swimming pool, newly-renovated sanitary facilities with free showers, washing machine & dryer, new toddler playground, bike rental, kiosk with basic food, cafeteria and Wi-Fi. A restaurant (150m) and supermarket (300m) are also nearby.

A small site in the town suburbs, Nord-Sam is very close to the A1 Salzburg-Nord autobahn exit 288, and so makes a convenient stopover. It is also acceptable for a longer stay, being on the edge of the town and with its own small fenced swimming pool. It is divided into 100 individual pitches (with 10A electricity), which are not very large and are separated by tall hedges, etc. which offer some privacy and are also attractive to wildlife (including red squirrels). Pitches are quite well shaded and the site is well tended, with flowers and shrubs. You should find space if you arrive reasonably early.The Western side of the site is close to a railway.

Site is signed from A1 Salzburg-Nord autobahn. From the motorway A1, Exit 288 Salzburg NORD, direction city center. After first set of traffic lights get into the left lane and follow the signs to the Campsite.Site is 700 metres further.
