The site has 50 grass pitches of varying sizes delineated by hedges. Pitches are among the largest we've seen, however, pitches at front could be noisy due to road noise. EHU points 6amp Euro plug are few and far between so be careful where you park or bring a long power lead. 5 pitches are occupied by Mobile Homes available to rent. Free WiFi in the vicinity of the office. There are several restaurants and shops within yards of the entrance. The town of Sées is about a 5 minute walk away, be sure to take the 3km walk around the town, ask for the free guide from the office, impressive Cathedral and medieval areas in a very pretty little town. Multilingual, friendly, helpful staff. Ideal for one night stop on your way north or south. There is a Carrefour Market with fuel about 120 metres away. Saturday market.

Lovely boulangerie adjacent. A meal in the bistro opposite the church in the town square is recommended. Note, it is easier to approach the site from the south, particularly if towing a caravan, as the gate is quite tight.

2 toilet blocks. One very new with toilet seats, other much more basic with no toilet seats. Both have toilet paper and plenty of hot water, wash sinks, private cubicle wash sinks, bigger sinks for pot washing and even bigger sinks for clothes washing. Pushbutton showers. Hair dryers (new block). Laundry facilities. Accessible Facilities. Playground a little basic but there is table tennis and boules. Motorhome services. Chemical toilet point. Electricity points 6amp euro plug. Very small shop for basics. BBQ area. Dog exercise/toilet area. Restaurant 500m, shop and bar 100m. Swimming pool 2km. WiFi near reception (Free). Twin axle caravans, American motorhomes and dogs accepted. Security barrier (charge for barrier card). Fishing 200m. Riding 1km. Tennis 500m.

Directions to Camping Municipal le Clos Normand

Leave the A28 at the junction with A88 and travel west towards Caen. In a short while at junction 16 turn south on D438 towards Alençon. Continue on Sées bypass. Do not take any turning towards Sées (narrow streets in centre of town) until you have passed Sées railway station on your right. Continue past D908 on your right. At roundabout turn left onto D42. From the south take the D42 and the campsite is on your left. Well signed but narrow entrance.
