Camping Municipal du Champs de Mars is to be found in the mountains of the Jura, in the east of France, you will find the This mountainous area is a hiking paradise in summer and a winter sports area in winter. You'll camp here on an open and well-organised campsite, where the spacious pitches offer a lot of freedom. The wooden chalets give you a beautiful view over the grounds. Due to the large and open lawns, the gently sloping, clearly laid out camping site exudes tranquillity and freedom.

Some of the 145 pitches are scattered over the grounds, receiving shade from trees. You will not find a swimming pool here. However, for swimming you do not have to go far; in the immediate vicinity are several lakes. For example, a 10 minutes drive in the southern direction brings you to the Lac de l'Abbaye. Fifteen minutes in the other order, you’ll find Lac delay and two lakes of Macau. You can not only swim in the lakes, but the surrounding wooded mountains are fantastic for hiking and bike rides. From the hill at Le Grand Macau, you have a beautiful view of the lakes and the surrounding area.

When approaching from the direction of Champagnole on N5. At a roundabout on the Northeast edge of St. Laurent-en-Grandvaux take the first exit to join Vers les Crêts. Next turn left onto Rue du Camping and the site is on this road. Site is signed.
