Manaysse is a little gem of a family campsite on the outskirts of the famous hillside village of Moustiers-Sainte Marie (900 m) and is ideal for exploring the magnificent Gorges du Verdon region. There are 97 terraced pitches on grass and gravel, with 85 for touring (electricity 6/10A). Some of the pitches are on a slight slope, however those at the top of the site have a beautiful view of Moustiers-Sainte Marie. There are both shady and sunny pitches available and the abundance of flowers, trees and shrubs make the site look very attractive. An area of grassland is set aside to promote the growth of wild flowers and butterflies. Large units should approach with care as there is a short, steep incline up to reception.

There is no shop, bar, restaurant or swimming pool on the site but the village is only ten minutes walk with a restaurant, bar and activities. The Lac de Saint Croix providing swimming and many sporting activities is 4 km. away. There is a huge range of things to do and places to visit in the area and Monsieur Delorme has plenty of information to share along with a good range of tourist brochures. As well as a Friday market an evening market is held during July and August in Moustiers.

Simple but clean toilet blocks. Accessible sanitary facilities. Washing machines. Bread is delivered. Small play area. Boules. Minigolf. No charcoal barbecues. Torches may be useful. WiFi (charged but very reasonable).

Moustiers is between Riez and Gorges du Verdon on the D952. From Riez turn north at first roundabout in Moustiers, site signed, entrance in 200 m.
