Tucked away in the quiet commune of Pénestin, between the historic Gulf of Morbihan and the resorts of La Baule, Camping Loscolo is perfect for those seeking a quiet, well-managed site with easy access to the sea. The site is perfectly positioned just 150 metres from a fine sandy beach, where there are a plethora of activities to enjoy by all. The site offers 60 well-defined pitches that have 10-Amp electric hookup points available.  These are thoughtfully laid out among mature trees and flowering shrubs, providing a welcome balance of sun and shade. For those seeking a touch of "extra" comfort, the site features touring pitches with individual sanitary blocks. 

The atmosphere at Loscolo is notably calm and refined. However, the facilities are far from basic. You can find an outdoor pool,  a paddling pool for toddlers, and a generous hot tub. The site takes pride in its organic vegetable garden, where guests are often invited to pick fresh herbs and seasonal produce for their evening meals. A cosy restaurant and pizzeria provide evening options, and in the morning, there is a delivery of fresh baguettes and croissants. A new feature of the campsite is the arrival of the Mini Farm. A delightful touch for families, where children can interact with animals in a natural, educational setting.

A short walk brings you to the Plage de la Mine d'Or. The 1.5km stretch of ochre-coloured cliffs is a stunning sight at sunset, named after a short-lived 19th-century gold rush.  A 15-minute cycle takes you to the Arzal Dam, the largest estuary dam in Europe. It’s a fascinating spot to watch the lock gates manage the transition between river and sea. Sunday morning in Pénestin centre is market day. It is the perfect place to stock up on Kouign-amann (Breton butter cake) and local cider to take back to your pitch.
