This site takes its name from the surrounding Los Alcornocales Natural Park, which is one of Europe’s largest Mediterranean forests. A small and charming site, it is off the beaten track in unspoilt countryside. The site has been well planned and the owners have been environmentally strict in its construction and situation. The result is a most pleasant experience of nature if you tire of the beaches. The 97 pitches (27 for touring units) have been thoughtfully hedged and grassed and all have electricity (16A). Because of the layout of the site, there is a long steep walk (300 m) from the lower pitches to the toilet block.

The administration building has a natural thatch roof (turf to us) and contains a superb restaurant with an open fire. The theme is continued throughout with a pretty bar using the natural wood and stone of the area and cleverly decorated with cork from the magnificent oaks, which abound. Trees such as catalpa, maple and hibiscus ensure a tranquil feeling.

Facilities at Camping Los Alcornocales

The sanitary block is very much in keeping with the surroundings. Free hot water and modern facilities including very large showers. Accessible Facilities. The mirrors are genuine ships’ portholes and are a stylish touch. Cleaning may be variable in low season. Small shop sells essentials but we recommend you stock up. Bar/restaurant (all year). Playground. Indoor swimming pool (open to public). English is spoken. WiFi in bar/restaurant (free).
