Alan Rogers Review of Camping Locronan
Camping Locronan is a well cared for, friendly site on the edge of the village of Locronan (400 m). The site has a heated covered pool and a children’s play area. The 100 pitches (76 for touring) are level, grassy and divided by low hedges. These are arranged on four different levels as the site is on the side of a steep hill. Vehicle access between the levels is steep and pedestrian access is by wooden steps which may be unsuitable for children and those with reduced mobility. Many of the pitches offer panoramic views across the countryside to the distant bay of Douarnenez.
The site is well located for exploring the medieval village of Locronan, which has featured in many period films. The cathedral city of Quimper is nearby as is Brittany’s highest mountain, Menez Hom which provides excellent walking. A number of long-distance footpaths run close to the site. The nearest beach is 5 km. away and is ideal for windsurfing.

Two modern toilet blocks have accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. Shop. Covered swimming pool. Small bar area (all season). Play area. Free WiFi over part of site. Mobile homes and equipped tents to rent.
Directions to Camping Locronan
Locronan is northwest of Quimper. From there, head north on D39 and D63 (towards Douarnenez) until you reach the village. The site is clearly signed in the village.
