Camping Les Rives de l’Ardèche is a terraced site in the southern French Ardèche. The site is located in the heart of the beautiful Ardèche valley, 10km from the source of the river but is not subject to flooding. The selective mowing of the grassy areas of the site is carried out to protect the varied fauna and flora. Thus allowing butterflies, insects and amphibians to thrive and allowing you to enjoy a view of all the many flowers offered by nature. The campsite is committed to sustainable practices and uses eco-friendly cleaning products and avoids using pesticides and herbicides.

The site has 90 grass pitches of which 55 are for touring units and have a 5/3- amp hook-up point. 35 seasonal and there are 10 mobile homes for hire. The campsite features a bar and restaurant, perfect for grabbing a drink or a bite to eat. A small shop on site also sells groceries and other essentials. The site is ideally located along the Ardèche River, ensuring access to pristine water for swimming and other activities such as fishing.

The site is a short distance from the village of Mayres, about thirty kilometres from Aubenas and close to the unmissable places such as Mont Gerbier de Jonc, Ray-Pic waterfall, villages of character, typical markets, Vallon-Pont d’Arc and the Chauvet cave. The surrounding area offers a plethora of outdoor activities for the adventurous soul. Explore the Ardèche valley on foot or bike, go hiking or trail running, or try your hand at canyoning with your family. The campsite's location is also perfect for fishing enthusiasts.

Directions to Camping Les Rives de l'Ardèche

From the A7 at Montélimar take the N102 in the direction of Aubenas. After Aubenas continue on the N102 (through the tunnel) and stay on the N102. After 30-40 mins. at Mayres follow the site signs and turn left onto Chambon de Mayres. Chambon de Mayres turns left and becomes Le Château. Turn left onto Aleyrac. Aleyrac turns slightly left and becomes Les Devès.Turn left to stay on Les Devès. The site will be on the right. The road to the site appears narrow but it is no problem with a caravan.
