Camping Les Prés Hauts is ideally located between the Alps and Provence in a green setting with all the quality facilities for your comfort. You can, if you feel like it, make use of the sports facilities, take a family hike or just enjoy the remarkable heritage of the area. But also visit the small villages of character, swim or fish in the rivers and certainly visit the local markets where you will be sure to taste the local fruits and products. Sisteron town is just a 10 mins. cycle ride from the site with lots to see and do, bars, restaurants and shops. The Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region is also a paradise for outdoor activities, with hiking, mountain biking, skiing and white-water sports. The site has 135 touring pitches and 10 mobile homes available to rent.

The Alpes-de-Haute-Provence area offers pure air, an exceptional number of sunshine hours all year round and a remarkable natural and built heritage. You will be spoilt for choice, try Verdon canyon, the magnificent Alps and the Haute-Provence geological reserve. The Vensole plateau is covered in laveder fields and the wonderful Verdon lakes. Beautiful villages, many of them fortified, with heaps of character, vernacular architecture and towns with a rich heritage such as Manosque, DIgne-les-Bains and Barcelonnette.

Location

From the north on A51/E712 take exit 23 Sisteron Nord. At the roundabout at the end of the slip road join the D4085. Continue on this road and cross the river bridge. Turn immediately left and at the roundabout take the first exit D951 to cross another river bridge and immediately turn left to continue on D951. When you arrive at a crossroads look out for the sign "Camping des Prés Hauts", turn left and drive about 500m and you will see the site on your right. From the south on A51/E712 take exit 22 Sisteron Sud. At the roundabout at the end of the slip road, take first exit to join the D4. Do not cross the river bridge. Continue on this road to the next river bridge (don’t cross it) but bear right to join D951. When you arrive at a crossroads look out for the sign "Camping des Prés Hauts", turn left and drive about 500m and you will see the site on your right.
