This rural haven is located in the heart of the beautiful Morvan national park. It's just 100 metres from the tranquil Lac des Settons, with its own beach and water-based activities, as well as walking and cycling. This attractive and carefully landscaped site has its own well-stocked fish pond with a few pitches along its bank. There are 100 spacious pitches (100-200 sq.m.), all for touring, set among leafy trees and neatly trimmed hedges that provide shade. One side of the site has an open area, ideal for small groups of campers. All have 10-16A electricity and access to water.

Les Mésanges is close to the borders of Burgundy’s four départements: Nièvre, Côte d’Or, Saône-et-Loire and Yonne. Extensive forests, several lakes, rivers and canals characterise the area. The land rises to about 900 m. in Morvan, and the natural surroundings are ideal walking terrain. Within reach are the Burgundian vineyards, with Auxerre and the Chablis area to the north and Beaune to the east.

Directions to Camping les Mésanges

Site is 40 km. from exit 22 of A6 Avallon and Bierre-les-Semur. Take the D606 towards Saulieu. At Cussey les Forges take D60 (Quarre des Tombes). At Quarre follow signs to Lac des Settons and on to D193, continuing on to D520. Site signed. Access to site is via C4.
