This is an attractive, spacious, family run site in the north of Burgundy and east of the Loire. It is set beside a lake and a forest which offers many opportunities for walks and bike rides. There are over 80 large, slightly sloping, grass pitches separated by hedges with a variety of trees giving varying amounts of shade. All for touring have 10A electricity, water, drainage and TV point. There are no organised on-site activities but within 10 km. there are many interesting old towns, a medieval-style castle being built using traditional methods, and Château de Saint Fargeau with its pageants and ‘son-et-lumière’.

This quiet site makes a good base for couples or those with pre-teens who wish to organise their own entertainment. It has a large play area, a small swimming pool, a bouncy castle and a bar/restaurant open all season allowing all the family to unwind after a day touring the interesting area.

Two well-equipped toilet blocks with all the necessary facilities, including facilities for children. Accessible for people with reduced mobility. Washing machine. Motorhome services. Heated infinity pool from May to September. Playground with bouncy castle. Bar, restaurant and takeaways (all season) with views of the lake with fishing and aquatic leisure activities. WiFi near bar.

Directions to Camping Les Joumiers

Leave A77 at exit 21 and take D965 east for 17 km. to St Fargeau. Turn right on D85 southeast to St Sauveur-en-Puisaye in 11 km. In village turn hard left on D7. In 800 m. turn right (site well signed) to site in 800 m.
