Camping les Jardins de L’Abbaye is a lovely little spot, a small site with thirty-two pitches of which sixteen are for touring units. The couple that run the site are very friendly and helpful and speak English. It is set in the trees so there is plenty of shade when the weather gets hotter. The site is just a couple of minutes’ walk from L'Abbaye which is the centre of the stunning town of Cadouin.

If this is your first visit to this area you will be totally charmed by it. The site is situated near some of the most beautiful sites of the Périgord Noir, Sarlat, Domme, La Roque Gageac, Beynac and Castelnaud. The cradle of prehistory Les Eyzies de Tayac, Vergt, Montignac, Lascaux and Le pays de Bastides Monpazier, Beynac, Villefranche, Beaumont du Perigord, Saint Cyprien and Belvès.

Directions to Camping les Jardins de l’Abbaye

From Bergerac take the D660 then D703 to Lalinde following the route of the River Dordogne. At Lalinde cross the river to take the D29 towards Pontours and Cales. Near Cales continue on D29. Now watch out for a right turn onto D28 and continue on D28 to Cadouin. At the cross roads with the D25 in Cadouin, continue ahead onto D2 and the site is on this road.
