Les Hortensias is a friendly, family site located close to Loctudy, 300 m. from the broad, sandy beach at Lodonnec which is overlooked by a small bar and restaurant. There are 105 grassy, hedged pitches, 71 for touring. These are of a modest size (80 sq.m) and most have electrical connections (6/10A). On-site amenities include an attractive swimming pool with a wide sunbathing terrace, and a well designed children’s pool area. A number of caravans and mobile homes are available to rent. There is a limited takeaway food service that offers pizzas, crêpes and paella all season. Bread and croissants are also available.

Loctudy is a pretty spot and is typical of Finistère, with ancient churches and a good selection of enticing crêperies. The town is renowned for the quality of its seafood, particularly langoustines, and there are a number of excellent restaurants. The Fête des Brodeuses held in July at nearby Pont l’Abbé is an excellent introduction to Breton folk culture. Sailing is popular and Loctudy has good facilities.

Directions to Camping les Hortensias

Approaching from the north (Quimper) take southbound D785 to Pont l’Abbé. Continue south on D2 to Loctudy and follow signs to site.
