Alan Rogers Review of Camping Les Erables
Camping Les Erables is in Midi-Pyrénées/Aveyron on the east side of the town of Millau, known for the towering viaduct. Your stay here is under the watchful eye of the Puncho d'Agast, a mountain popular with paragliders. Furthermore, the Grands Causses National Park is just around the corner. The site has 79 pitches, of which 70 are for touring units, and has a 10-amp hook-up point available. Five mobile homes and a lodge tent are also available to hire. Most of the pitches are on grass and many trees and hedges that provide shade and privacy.
On-site facilities include a small swimming pool, a bar with outdoor seating, and a perfect area to cool off and enjoy a tasty snack. There is also a small children's playground and an area on site where you will find a pool table, table tennis and football table. The campsite is located on the banks of the Tarn, with a private beach perfect for water activities such as kayaking and swimming. You can buy basic groceries at the campsite's shop, including a daily bread delivery service. Millau is only a fifteen-minute walk to the centre for shopping and restaurants.
