Alan Rogers Review
This small site is situated midway between the busy town of La Roche Bernard and some of Brittany’s finest beaches. The young owners, Anita and Nicholas Thaunoux, keep the site immaculate and have made it attractive with well tended flowers and shrubs. The 20 touring pitches are modest in size and some offer shade. All have 10A electricity. On-site activities are rather limited, but its location is good for walking and cycling. Families with young children would find the site and the area ideal.
Les Embruns’ long opening season makes it ideal for those wishing to take an early or late holiday. The owners, conscious that the weather may not be ideal at these times, have incorporated a hardstanding area on each touring pitch. Holidays at this small rural site can centre around relaxing by the pool, a quiet country walk or a cycle ride to nearby Camoël for a seafood lunch. You may however prefer to visit the large town of Roche Bernard for shops, restaurants and its picturesque and busy waterfront.
