Camping Les Chevaliers de Malte (The Knights of Malta). Is near Villedieu-les-Poêles, a historic city of bell foundry and copper smithing. The site is proof that a city site can also be very green and doesn't have to be full of asphalt. The 78 spacious grass touring pitches with 8/16-amp hook-up points. The pitches are situated on well-tended lawns and are separated by mature hedging, giving privacy during your stay here. The site also has 18 mobile homes or tipi tents available to hire.

The small river that runs along the site, La Sienne, gives the site extra charm. Children will spend hours playing on the bouncy castle and playground, which has a trampoline, slides and sandpit. For the older family members, there is table tennis, a football table and a pool table. The heated outdoor swimming pool is quite large and is located near the campsite entrance. The campsite's snack bar overlooks the pool; here, you can enjoy fresh pastries in the morning for breakfast and quick bits to eat and take away meals during the day. Everything you can't find on the site is nearby. A large supermarket for example, a walk of just a few minutes away and several restaurants and bars in the city centre.

The campsite is located in a great location, close to a number of interesting tourist attractions. Explore Villedieu-les-Poêles itself. This town is famous for its copperware tradition, which dates back to medieval times. You can visit the Atelier du Cuivre (copper workshop), the Fonderie de Cloches (bell foundry) and the Mauviel 1830 factory, or take a guided tour of the town to learn more about its history and heritage.

From Caen on the A84/E3 take exit 37 Granville and join the D924 towards Villedieu-les-Poêles. At the Office de Tourisme signs turn left and follow the camping signs.
