This lovely site is about 750 metres off the main road behind high pine trees, in a delightful setting surrounded by the fields of the local dairy farms. It addition to being an excellent campsite built in 2000 to high standards, it is also part of a network of training establishments for young adults with learning difficulties. Visitors are welcome to participate in the numerous horse training and recreational activities that are provided for staff and visitors alike. The 134 level pitches (90 for touring) are of a good size with pleasant views across the farmland and 60 have water, drainage and electricity.
The site is open for the winter season for visitors staying in rental accommodation, with cross-country skiing from the campsite.
Facilities at Camping les Cerneux
The modern, heated sanitary blocks are of a high standard with free showers. Accessible facilities, Washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Restaurant and excellent shop share the reception building. Riding. Bicycle hire. Fully equipped caravans, bungalows, rooms and dormitories to rent.
Directions to Camping les Cerneux
From Saignelégier go 3 km. west and turn left (Les Breuleux). Go through town and turn left at T-junction. 1 km. past football pitch turn left along track towards site. Use gate rather than cattle grid (close it afterwards).
