A modern and well managed site, les Ceriselles was created in 1998 on land adjacent to the Canal du Nivernais and is owned by a group of communities. A very level site, it has 92 pitches on grass (74 for touring), all with electricity and 38 with full services. There are also 18 mobile homes. Staff live on site and the gates are locked 22.00-07.00 hrs. A popular site with Dutch and English visitors making it busy in high season. A covered terrace houses a restaurant with a good range of meals, takeaway and drinks. Twin-axle caravans are not accepted.

This good value site is just off the D606 and ideal for exploring the Yonne valley and Auxerre region.

Facilities at Camping les Ceriselles

Four small, heated toilet blocks each provide one WC, 2 washbasins in cubicles and two showers per sex, with an accessible unit in block one (nearest reception). A further block has a baby room, WCs and laundry. Restaurant (all season, hours vary acc. to demand). Clubroom with TV. Playground. Bicycle hire. Fishing. Boules. Volleyball. Basketball. Archery, canoeing and kayaking on certain days in high season. WiFi over site (charged).

Directions to Camping les Ceriselles

Vincelles is 10 km. south of Auxerre. From A6 take Auxerre Sud exit and follow N65 towards Auxerre. After 4 km. turn south on D606 towards Avallon and after 10 km. turn left on D38. Site entrance is on left just before canal.
