Family-run since 1974, Camping Les Bouleaux is an excellent little campsite located at Vignoles, 4 km from the centre of historic Beaune. There are just 46 pitches, all with an electrical connection (3-6A, long leads may be required on some pitches). The large, flat and grassy pitches are attractively laid out, and most are separated by hedges and trees, giving some shade. It's a rural, sleepy area, backing onto fields, with plenty of scope for easy-going walks and is popular with those (mainly couples) who enjoy gastronomy, wine and culture. It is a handy stopover site.

The wine-related attractions on the doorstep need little introduction. The vineyards of Meursault, Pouligny-Montrachet and Pommard are just the start, and the world-famous 'Hospices des Beaune' are a must-see. Don't miss the chance of a wine tasting - maybe take a bike and follow one of the cycle routes or the 'voie vert', which leads through charming, picturesque scenery and rolling vineyards.

Facilities at Camping les Bouleaux

An older unisex building provides squat-style WCs, while the adjacent modern block houses British-style WCs (no paper). Washbasins in cabins or communal. Controllable showers and excellent Accessible facilities. No shop, but wine and basic groceries can be bought at the reception. Supermarket 3 km. Children's playground. Gas exchange. WiFi.

Directions to Camping les Bouleaux

Leave A6 at exit 24.1 south of Beaune. Turn right at roundabout, straight on at traffic lights (centre lane), then right at next roundabout. Cross autoroute, left (Vignoles). Follow campsite signs.
