This is a busy, family run campsite that is very popular with British holidaymakers and is used by a number of tour operators who occupy 150 of the 544 pitches. However, there are still 300 touring pitches, all with electricity (10A), water tap and drain; there are also 32 mobile homes for hire. The site is on both sides of the main road, linked by a tunnel. Most of the larger pitches are on the far side, so owners of high units would need to ask for a pitch on the main part of the site. There are outstanding leisure facilities.

These include a heated outdoor pool with attractive children’s pool and an indoor pool with an outdoor fun pool with water slides and flumes in the other part of the site. There is an excellent shop, a good bar and a pleasant little restaurant/takeaway offering good value meals. From the back gate there is a coastal cycle track and a path through the pine forest to the beach. In high season a shuttle bus runs along the back road to Saint Jean-de-Monts in one direction and to Notre-Dame-de-Monts in the other.

Facilities

Seven sanitary blocks provide washbasins in cubicles, controllable showers, and facilities for children and accessible facilities. Washing machines and dryers. No motorhome service point. Indoor pool all season, outdoor pools July/Aug. Shop, bar, restaurant and takeaway (8/5-30/8). Play areas. Multisports court. Tennis. Volleyball. Minigolf. Bicycle hire. Children’s club, daytime sporting activities and evening entertainment. WiFi over part of site (charged).

Location

Site is on the D38 3 km. north of St Jean-de-Monts, roughly halfway between St Jean-de-Monts and Notre-Dame-de-Monts, with the entrance on the western side of the road.
