Near the Slovenian border, close to the small town of Leibnitz, this site is set in the rolling wine-growing countryside of southeast Austria. A small site with only 63 pitches, it is set in a lovely park area, close to an excellent swimming pool complex (some noise can be heard) which is available for campers’ use (with access arrangements for disabled visitors).

A sports centre and facilities for minigolf and tennis are nearby. All the pitches are of a good size, level and with 16A electricity connections, and most have some shade. The town has shops and restaurants with weekly events held, for example, at the Jazz Club. There are marked footpaths and cycle routes to allow you to explore.

Facilities

Excellent sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained with free showers. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machine. Snack bar and takeaway (May-Sept) but many restaurants within walking distance. Small play area. WiFi over site (charged).

Location

From A9 take Leibnitz exit, go straight over two roundabouts (through factory outlet centre), over traffic lights and after 300 m. turn left (site signed). Go straight over roundabout and enter Leibnitz, turn right and site is 500 m. on left, in park next to pool complex.
